As a co-founder of Green Wealth Management Group, LLC, Alan brings a passion for creating wealth management planning strategies and collaborating with our clients’ other advisors (attorneys and accountants) to achieve optimal outcomes. Previously, Alan worked at Merrill Lynch, where he was Senior Resident Director and a Wealth Management Advisor. In total, Alan worked for 20 years at two large Wall Street brokerage firms as a financial advisor and a leader of financial advisors. During this time, he earned three advanced designations: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor.
Alan is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Economics. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the St. Vincent DePaul Mission of Waterbury, sits on the Southbury Middlebury Scholarship Fund and is a voting member of the United Way of Greater Waterbury. He is a lifelong swimmer and lives in Southbury, CT with his wife, Kathy, and three children, Kenneth (K.C.), Brayden, and Stella.
